    • If you want to attend a course, you first need to have your ability in German assessed. Information on this can be found here or do the interactive level check.
    • The registration for the German courses can be done online on studon.
    • Registration period for German courses for students of all disciplines:
      • Courses in Erlangen: 29.09.2025, 12 p.m. – 15.10.2025, 6. p.m.
      • Courses in Nürnberg: 29.09.2025, 12 p.m. – 15.10.2025, 6. p.m.
    • There is NO “first come, first served” principle.
    • Allocation of places in German courses: 16.10.2025 – 17.10.2025
    • Confirmation of course places by mail on 17.10.2025
    • Placement tests, appointments on studon:
      • Erlangen: Appointment from 17.09.2025. Test period: 17.09.2025 – 15.10.2025, 4. p.m.
      • Nürnberg: Appointment from 17.09.2025. Test period: 17.09.2025 – 15.10.2025, 4 p.m.
