In the more popular languages, all levels/examinations are offered every semester, for the other languages it varies depending on capacities and demand.

S= sciences, L= law, E = engineering, B = business and economics (only offered in Nuremberg/School of Business, Economics, and Society)

  • In Portuguese, language courses are offered in the levels stated in the table, but the relevant UNIcert® examinations are not offered for every level in both Erlangen and Nuremberg.
  1. a) Erlangen: In Erlangen, the language courses are usually aimed at the levels UNIcert® Basis and UNIcert® I, occasionally also for UNIcert® II. Depending on the staff situation, the relevant examinations can only be taken in levels UNIcert® Basis and UNIcert® I.
  2. b) Nuremberg: Language courses are offered for UNIcert® Basis, UNIcert® I and UNIcert® II. UNIcert® examinations can only be taken for levels UNIcert® Basis and UNIcert® I. Please check with the Language Centre (Nuremberg Campus) whether examinations can also be taken in UNIcert® II.
  • In Spanish, courses in UNIcert® Basis are offered at both Erlangen and Nuremberg, but the examination in UNIcert® Basis can only be taken at the Language Centre (Nuremberg Campus)/School of Business, Economics, and Society.
