Celebrating 50 years of the Language Centre
2019 marks the Language Centre’s 50th anniversary.
Festivities started with an enjoyable summer party in the courtyard of Bismarckstraße 1a.
A delicious buffet of international specialities offered something for everyone. Light music provided a pleasant backdrop to the festivities. An expressive poem in Italian, an epic joke and two beautifully clear songs provided the finishing touches to a wonderful evening enjoyed by esteemed current and former members of staff, members of the board, relatives and other guests, some of whom were attending the summer party for the first time.
The party, held on a beautiful summer’s evening, was testimony to the great diversity and friendly atmosphere of the Language Centre.
In November, the Language Centre will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a rather more formal event.
