Preparatory German courses (DSH courses)
Preparatory German courses (DSH courses)
1. General information on preparatory German courses (DSH courses)
General objectives
In cooperation with the Language Centre of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Association for Internationalization at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, an experienced team of teachers offers preparatory courses (so-called DSH courses). These courses teach the German language skills required to be able to study in German in Germany. The “German Language Test for Admission to Higher Education” (DSH) is used to test whether this knowledge is sufficient. The DSH courses therefore also prepare students for this exam.
Required language skills
In order to participate in these courses, German language skills at an intermediate or high level (B1-C1) are required. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer preparatory courses for beginners.
