Proof of CEFR Level

The FAU recognises numerous internationally accredited certificates as proof of a person’s command of English. A full list of these and further information can be found here.

Please consult your study regulations and/or your module handbook for more detailed information on the language requirements for your degree program as the EASP department is unable to provide applicable to on all courses of study.

Proof of B2, CEFR:

• at FAU: UNIcert II exam (free of charge; based 50% on course grades (written, oral), 50% on the grades in an additional 70-minute exam (reading and listening comprehension))
• external tests (NOT free of charge; recognized tests see here)
• Exclusively FAU internal (!) confirmation of B2, CEFR (free of charge) on successful completion of two level 2 courses* or two level 3 oder level 4 courses (or a combination of courses from both levels)**
